Measuring & Installation

Measuring and installing Gutter Clean is quick and easy! Follow the measuring and installation guidelines below and make gutter cleaning a distant memory.

Make sure your ladders are secure and in good working condition. You should be in good physical health to measure and clean gutters and to install GutterClean. If there is any doubt, hire an insured and reliable service or handyman to perform the task.

1. k-style gutter Determine the shape of your gutters. Standard Gutter Clean is available in K-Style.

Call or e-mail us with questions about other shapes.

2. k-style gutter Measure the top of the gutter to determine the size. GutterClean is available in 5" and 6" sizes.

3. GutterClean is manufactured in 4' pieces. Measure the gutter accurately (not walls!) around your house, add 1-2%, and order in quantities divisible by 4! The more corners, the closer to 2% we recommend.

Once you've determined the style and size of your gutters and measured the gutter around your house you are ready to order GutterClean!

Installing Instructions

1. Clean out gutter and downspouts completely.

2. k-style gutter Typical tools needed are a ladder and some sort of cutting device. Suggestions include, a turkey carver, sirrated bread knife, or another type of sharp blade. Be careful!

3. k-style gutter Start at an end cap or somewhere away from a corner. The "wave" and small notch face the gutter front. The “Flex Foot” should be in the back.

4. Cut a notch in the bottom to fit over hanger.

5. k-style gutter Flip back over and place over the hanger. Fit front “lip” inside.

6. k-style gutter Move on to the next piece!

Installation Tips:

Corners should be cut on a 45 degree (like a picture frame) and not squared off. It is a good idea to trim off excess foam underneath in the corner since water naturally slows down at corners.

Flexfoot - If your gutters are tight against the bottom of your shingle, customize your GutterClean by simply trimmming off the bottom “Flex Foot” to maximize water flow space inside the gutter.
