GutterClean is… an open-cell, exterior grade urethane foam that allows water to pass through.

GutterClean is… coated with carbon black which is the best exterior UV protections in the industry. It is used extensively in the auto industry to protect car molding from UV damage.

GutterClean is… designed with Flex Foot that can be customized in tight applications and can be trimmed off in extreme cases. This keeps flow space area maximized.

GutterClean is… able to seal your gutters tightly preventing breeding and nesting of mosquitoes, wasps, birds, and animals. Other products can perpetuate mospuito breeding by providing a shaded, open, and wet space.

GutterClean is… warranted for 15 years against any large debris from entering and clogging a gutter or downspout. Warranty registration is required and is limited to replacement of defective material.

GutterClean is… designed as a mechanical barrier covering the top of the gutter allowing only water, dirt and small roof grit to pass through. Seeds, needles, sticks, etc. can not get inside eliminating the need for future cleanings.

GutterClean is… not going to freeze solid because it’s cell count allows 90% of the water to pass through within one minute of entering. It won’t freeze because the water won’t stay in long enough!

GutterClean is… an insert so it does not attach to or slide under shingles or roofing. Other products can create a path for water and ice to travel back up under shingles, cause shingles to blow off and can void roof material and performance warranties.

GutterClean is… invisible from the street. You've seen helmets, covers, and screens on houses. Do any of them add to the curb appeal?

GutterClean is… treated to retard the growth of fungus, mold, and mildew.

NO! If anyone says there is, they are lying!

However, we believe GutterClean has the most benefits and fewest limitations out there.

• During the heaviest of rain storms, even clean gutters can reach capacity and overflow. If and how often this may occur depends greatly on the effectiveness of your gutter system and the frequency and size of your downspouts. This can still occur with GutterClean installed despite the fact that GutterClean is 90% air. With many covers and screens, the water just “shoots” over the top and never gets in the gutter.

• Sleet or unusual snow melt and quick freeze can leave a thin layer of ice on top of GutterClean temporarily reducing its ability to take in water. These situations will also shut down other gutter protection products or gutters without protection. The good news is Gutter Clean is black and absorbs the heat melting the ice away quickly (similar to a blacktop driveway).

• GutterClean relies on the wind to blow debris off the top (just like every other product). If you have an area, say and inside corner or valley, where the wind is blocked, then debris may have a hard time being blown off. Periodic maintenance in these areas to move heavy debris such as twigs and needles may be appropriate and can often be done from the ground using a broom or a brush. However, this debris cannot penetrate or get stuck in GutterClean and the rain water will find its way around the debris and into the gutter!

Bottom line, Mother Nature will “win” once in awhile but, with GutterClean, the results are not tragic!
